Our Story
Vaughn Group started in a modest ground-floor space on Strada Florilor in 2011 — a deliberate choice to be walkable, accessible, and present in the daily life of the neighborhood. The founder had spent years observing that București's residential districts were underserved by businesses that actually understood local needs, rather than applying a national or international template. So the brief was simple: build something small enough to be personal and good enough to stay. Over fourteen years that philosophy has held. We expanded the team incrementally, adding only people who already lived in or near the neighborhood and who shared the conviction that slow, careful relationship-building beats rapid growth every time. The cream-and-burgundy identity you see throughout our space was chosen to echo the warm ochre and timber tones of the surrounding streets — a visual commitment to belonging here, not just operating here.

There are seven of us at Vaughn Group today, and all but one joined after being introduced by an existing client or neighbor — a fact we find quietly telling. We do not run a formal recruitment process; we look for people who already understand what we are trying to do and who genuinely want to be part of it. Each team member handles a specific area of our service offering but everyone is trained to welcome, orient, and assist any visitor who walks through the door. We share notes from every appointment in a simple internal log so continuity is maintained even when your usual contact is not in.
